Hockey Sight Word Game- Dolch
Do you have students who love to play hockey? It’s always fun to incorporate students’ interests into learning activities. The Make, Take & Teach Goal! activity is a great way for our little hockey fans to practice the Dolch 220 sight words. To play this game, students take turns choosing hockey pucks and reading the words. Choose a “Goal!” puck and the player can pick a few more pucks, choose the “Penalty” and all the hockey pucks must be placed back in the pile. This game is perfect for either small group instruction or as a literacy center activity as it allows for both differentiation and multiple opportunities for response.
