This activity contains hockey pucks with the first 225 Fry sight words as well as several Goal! and Penalty! pucks. Students take turns choosing a puck and reading the words. If a Goal! puck is chosen, the player can choose 3 more pucks, but if a Penalty! puck is chosen, all the pucks must be put back into the pile. The player with the most hockey pucks at the end of time wins the game. This is a fast paced game with many practice opportunities.
