The Long Vowel Sounds Write It activity is ideal for use during small group instruction or as an independent literacy center activity. When you download this file you will received five decks containing words and pictures with the spelling patterns for the 5 vowels. Each vowel contains 16 colorful Write It cards where the student is to write the correct spelling pattern for the word using a dry erase marker. To assemble your activity, simply laminate the pages, cut the cards along the dotted line and bind together with a loose leaf ring. After use, just wipe the cards clean and use over and over again. The cover for each deck contains picture cues for the spelling patterns of each long vowel sound.
