Soccer Goal! Fry Sight Words
It’s always fun to incorporate students’ interests into learning activities. The Make, Take & Teach It’s a Goal! activity is a great way for our little soccer fans to practice the first 225 words from the Fry sight word list. To play this game, students take turns choosing soccer balls and reading the words. Choose a “goal” ball and the player can pick a few more balls, choose the “red card” ball and all the balls must be placed back in the pile. This game is perfect for either small group instruction or as a literacy center activity as it allows for both differentiation and multiple opportunities for response.
