Your students will absolutely LOVE the spider web game for practicing sight words. To create this game, you’ll have to draw a spider web on poster board, but no worries, I’ve included the step-by-step directions in this file. To play the game, your students will take turns choosing word cards, reading the words and then moving the number of spaces indicated on the card. If the player lands on a space with a spider, he/she can move inward a level. Students continue to draw cards and moving their marker until a player reaches the center. So simple to play and the kiddos just love it!
